Below is a follow-up question to Manu's input diet post. All my readers are welcome to respond.
`` Prologue
I believe most of you already are familiar with Manu, well respected and interesting human being in all things blogging and minimalism. He inspired me and many many others to write and share their thoughts on their own real estate on the internet. You can read more about Manu here.
`` Follow-up question
I'm curious to know what your "output diet" take would be?
I have lately been thinking a lot about how I can reduce the things on my todo list in order to save some bandwidth and precious mental space.
Especially the digital tasks. They sure can look puny on the all-todo list together with physical errands. However, they do seem to more often than not quietly rob you out of the most time.
So, I have decided to drastically reduce my daily digital output.
I have found that keeping the number of todo tasks to +- 5 is a good balance for me. Anything more than 10 and I find my focus getting diluted with efforts wasted.
For now I push a lot of tasks to a small dedicated productive time window on weekends to be a little more carfeul and intentional with where I put my attention.
Though, this needs further exploration.
